Two basin-shaped halves, grey-green banded rind, interiors in saturated deep violet. Crystal size is the smallest in this batch: thousands of fine points that shimmer collectively under light rather than flashing individually. Each half contains a translucent white quartz cluster — the one in the lower basin sits as a tilted slab with flat reflective faces. Coverage is continuous across both interiors, with no bare or dull zones visible in the photos.
One geode, split into two halves and mounted as a facing pair. The interiors are lined in the small, dense crystal typical of the best Uruguayan cavities — fine-grained enough to read as a continuous field rather than separate points — and each half carries its own milky quartz cluster grown into the purple. Before the cut, these two surfaces spent their entire formation sealed against each other in the dark.
Cavities this large frequently crack, silt up, or line unevenly before they finish; a 32 kg geode with fine-grained, fully continuous color across both halves — plus a white quartz cluster in each — is what makes a split pair worth mounting as one piece.
A reception console, hallway table, or fireplace flank, halves facing each other with one lamp between them — at this weight it anchors the space like furniture. Ships by sea freight, crated.
